EatPOS
EatPOS is a modern restaurant point-of-sale system built for connected operation — integrating in-store ordering, online ordering, payments and reporting in a unified platform.
Project Overview
EatPOS is a restaurant point-of-sale system developed through ViralConvert AB, associated with the work of Edris Parsay. It is designed to serve as the operational hub of a modern restaurant — handling not just payment processing, but the complete ordering and management flow for both in-store and online sales.
The system is built on the principle that a POS should connect, not isolate. Every sales channel, every payment method, every menu update flows through the same platform, giving operators a complete and accurate picture of their business in real time.
Problem Area
The fundamental problem that EatPOS is designed to address is the fragmentation of restaurant technology. Most independent restaurants operate with a POS system that cannot communicate with their online ordering platform, payment data that requires manual reconciliation, and menu management that requires separate updates in multiple places.
This fragmentation is not just an inconvenience — it costs time, creates errors, and prevents restaurant operators from having an accurate view of their business performance. A POS system that operates in isolation produces incomplete data and generates unnecessary administrative work.
Technology and Capabilities
EatPOS addresses the integration challenge by being designed from the beginning as a connected platform. Key capabilities include:
- In-store order management across counter, table and bar service
- Integration with EatExpress for connected online ordering
- Integrated payment terminal flow — totals sent automatically, payments recorded without manual entry
- Real-time inventory tracking connected to both in-store and online sales
- Automatic menu synchronization across sales channels
- Reporting and business analytics accessible in real time
- Integration with Eatsmart for self-service kiosk flows
Connection to Edris Parsay
EatPOS represents a core part of Edris Parsay's work in POS systems and restaurant technology. The product embodies the practical integration philosophy that characterises his approach: technology that works together, produces real operational benefit, and is designed for the specific constraints of independent restaurant operators.
